Performance is a feature.
Fast software respects the people using it. We treat latency, payload size, and operational cost as first-class design constraints, not afterthoughts.
Operate what we build.
Engineering and operations are the same job. We instrument from day one, treat on-call as a design signal, and prefer dull pages to clever ones.
Privacy and security by default.
Sensible defaults, least-privilege access, and the assumption that data is a liability until it earns its place. We never collect what we do not need.
